Sidenotes: As the guy in charge of Halloween, Jack pretty much runs Halloween Town, for two reasons: 1) Every day in Halloween Town is Halloween, and 2) the Mayor of Halloween Town pretty much can't figure out what to do about anything without consulting Jack. But, of course, coming up with a new idea for Halloween every single day can leave you running out of ideas pretty fast. One day, as Jack was pondering how to make Halloween spectacular, he wandered into the woods and found a tree with a door in it that led to Christmas Town. He was so enthralled by what he saw there, that he decided to bring Christmas to Halloween Town.

Recruitment: He pretty much joins up as soon as you enter Halloween Town.
