Yosuke is the first friend you make in Inaba, after saving him from getting eaten by a trashcan. He is a very extroverted player with very little game, evidenced by the fact that he hits on every single girl he sees and strikes out with all of them. His family runs the local branch of Junes, a large nationwide department store chain. The store is partly responsible for the slow creeping demise of Inaba's shopping district, which often puts him at odds with some of the locals. After the death of Konishi Saki, a girl he had a crush on, he is determined to find out why she had to die and asks you to venture into the TV world with him to look for clues. After you save him from his Shadow, this seals your friendship and you, Yosuke, and Teddie officially form the Investigation Team.
