Japon, the Ninja Village

Go to Alvanista. To the right of the entrance is a house with two people standing on the top of it. Talk to the guy to learn about the Ninja Village (he's next to the girl who wants to go swimming). Now, go to Ymir.

Ymir Forest and Treant's Forest, no Arches allowed!

Switch Chester inta yer party, and head there. Crap. Go up all the way, then left a bit, up a bit, right, go up just before the little bridge-type-thing, left, and up. Take the left path into the next area, then follow it and take the second north. *whew* Rambard's in the inn, and you can talk to him for a looong debate on the subject of half-elves which has no effect on the storyline whatsoever.

Go up, up, up, left, left, down, left, up, up, and up. Talk to the kid, and Arche joins you after flying over the trees... Bah, big freaking weirdo. Wow, that is one paranoid person living in this house... OK, yeahhhhh... I didn't need to know that, Arche! Ow, poor Chester. *cracks up*

*wonders how in the name of Hades Namco made Suzu a playable character in the PSX remake of this game...*

*ahem* Anyway... Muramasa? ... hrm... sounds a lot like the Masamune... ANYWHO! Enter the forest from the left side of the village, then go left, then down to get the Blue Crystal Rod for Mint. Go back to the village, then leave from the right and head east for the Flare Tornado spell for Arche. Go back to the village and buy a bunch of Japanese Apples. You can also recover in the hot springs, and, no, you won't get a repeat of that... scene. *is still mentally scarred from that...* *whimper*

If you did the Treasure Hunt, then you can make oden (the food, not the god). You'll need to go to different cities and then come back here to make it, though, so you can go get the items when you leave here for the Coliseum. You need eggs from Olive Village, seaweed from Venezzia, radishes from Euclid, and pudding and miso from here in Japon (watch out, 's spensive...). When you have all of the ingredients, go to the building below Suzu's house (where you bought the miso) and talk to Ryoko in the kitchen (funny how here, Ryoko's a cook, and in Tenchi Muyou!, Ryoko can't cook to save her life... ^~__~^ ). One oden will fill up your entire food sack! (and yes, I'm talking about the large one!) Plus, it sells for 300,000 g.

Try to leave the Village from the south, and Suzu offers to take you back to one of three places. Choose whichever you want, although I suggest "Ymir Forest Entrace". How does she do that? ^~__~^

Alright, to finish this sidequest, you have to go to the Coliseum and fight through the first round of battles. At the end, they ask if you want to fight the optional boss. Instead of a Wyrven, though, you'll get to fight Okiyo and Dozo, Suzu's parents. For tips on this part, click below on "The Coliseum and More Ninjas". Whether you win or lose, you still have to go back to the Ninja Village and talk to Suzu's grandfather Lanzo, who will give you the Lion Claws combo.
