Keep . : Shades of Silence : . free!

Head for Euclid, and enter the castle. I suggest you have at least a Gorgon or Body Amulet equipped for this, since your only party member will be Cless. You might want to have a Holy Rune equipped, as well, since you only get three Apple Gummies. This is also a great place to level up. The techs I recommend are Soul Wave and Teleport/Firebrand (for the BigFoot and Mimm), and Soul Forge and Soul Strike. Sometimes you'll have to switch weapons if you're using the Excalibur from Moria, although if you have the Demon Hand from Moria, it's a pretty good weapon to use. If not, the Eternal Sword works fine. You should be around lv 80 by now, if you've done lower Moria. Go all the way left and talk to the middle guard outside the door. Answer "yes" twice. Here we go!

Round one is just a Bugbear, and all the enemies have the same HP they'd have anywhere else in the game, so just go and whomp him. I suggest you try and save all your TP for later rounds, cause you'll need it, and you only get ONE Orange Gummy... If you get poisoned, use a Medicine Bottle, then right away use a Flare Bottle, cause Medicine Bottles reduce your attack strength. Round three is a Mandrake. If you didn't equip a Gorgon Amulet, keep your distance... if you get stoned/paralyzed, you lose. Round seven is a toughie, a Fe. Golem. Use techs if you want to, but I suggest you definately use a Flare Bottle, and keep your distance, cause he packs a helluva punch. ^.__.^ Round eight is a Gorgon. PH33R IT! This is what you've been saving all your tech skills for, so use em! Go go go!

After you win, you have the option of a final boss, unless you started the Ninja Village sidequest (linked below). If you started that sidequest, you'll now have to fight Suzu's parents, Okiyo and Dozo, who've been brainwashed by Dhaos. If you didn't, skip down to the last paragraph of this section

Bosses: Dozo and Okiyo
HP: Dozo: 28,500, Okiyo: 15,500
Weakness: Light
Attacks: physicals

This is a very hard fight if you're not ready. They move very very quickly, and teleport lots, even more so than the ones you've fought before. You start off surrounded, with Okiyo on your left and Dozo on your right. Press the left arrow key to target Okiyo first, as she's got less HP than her mate. Your best bet is to just spam Teleport over and over and over for this fight. Good thing you can have it as both an LR and an SR tech! These guys may only use physicals, but they take A LOT of HP off. Be quick with those Apple Gummies, and use your Orange Gummy if you need it!

There are two possible outcomes to this:

You lose, and your party members freak. You're on the ground, and the two ninja are steadily approaching to finish you off. Suddenly, Suzu appears, but her parents don't seem to recognize her. She takes it upon herself to stop them, mumbles something, and suddenly there are four of her! Meep. They attack "her," but it was just an illusion (like in Dragonball, with the after-image thing), and she attacks them while they're distracted, killing them. "Mr. Cless, wake up!" Yeah, wake up, ya wussy!

You win (you get a Sake and a Painting if you do), and then it turns out that the ninja you were fighting were just decoys! The real ninja close in for the final attack, but suddenly Suzu appears. After some confusion and hallucinating voices, Dozo and Okiyo kill eachother. They collapse, and after a long heartfelt and depressing talk, they pass on.

Because the ninja "interferred," the judges disqualify you, so you gotta start all over again. Oh joy... Well, do it all over again, and this time, you get to choose if you want to fight the optional final boss. Whether you fight him or not, you still get the Lion Teeth combo, but if you choose to fight him, you have to win to get the combo. If you choose yes, you're completely healed, all your TP is restored, and you get to fight the Wyvern. The best techs against this guy are Soul Forge and Soul Wave. Use Soul Forge until you've backed him into a corner, then Soul Wave him to death.

Round two is an EvilWeed. Like with the Mandrake, keep your distance unless you have a Gorgon Amulet equipped. Round eight is a BearMan. Weirdo. He jumps around a lot and has a lot of HP, so just Soul Wave him to death. Death by Soul Wave! AHAHAHAHAHAHA! *ahem*...

You win a Souvenier Set: A Soup Pot , a bottle of Guinness (ph33r da b33r), an S-Flag , and a Sake

Round one is an Udkala (a souped-up version of an Oak Root/Branch). It does the same things as any other tree you've ever fought, but it's got a mizillion HP (well, OK, slight exaggeration, but still...). Plus, it hits hard, approx. 1000 HP per hit. Ew. Round eight is a BigFoot. AUGH! I HATE THESE THINGS!! Having Firebrand as your second SR skill is a good idea here. Use it when he's making it snow. Beware his spikes, and NEVER use Teleport or Soul Strike with this guy! His spikes can kill you in two seconds flat. ^.__.^

You win an Amulet Set: Body Amulet , Poison Amulet , and a Gorgon Amulet

Round seven is a .. Bugbear? K..... And round eight is a FastStar, who's just like any of the other monsters of this type that you've faced: hit him from far away.

You win Meats of the World: Veal , Boar Roast , Chicken , Steak , Sirloin Steak , Pork Roast , Dragon Steak , and a Beef

You'll need the Eternal Sword for this, since none of the weapons found in Moria work on the damn BlueSoup. Anyway. Round two is the infamous BlueSoup. Round eight is a souped-up version of Ifrit, Solomond. If you've got the Golden Armor from the Moria sidequest, his attacks heal you! Otherwise, blah. He's not actually all that difficult in the first place.

You win a Herb Set: Verbena , Lavender , Sage , Savory , Red Verbena , Red Lavender , Red Sage , and a Red Savory

Round eight is a copy of Golem, Kemazotz. Do Soul Strike right off the bat as many times as you can until he does his bomb thing. Then do Soul Wave when he comes above-ground.

You win a Bottle Set: Remedy Bottle , Medicine Bottle , Rune Bottle , Flare Bottle , Charm Bottle , and a Life Bottle

Again, use the Eternal Sword, cause of the damn BlueSoup. Round eight is a Mimm. If you did the Moria sidequest, you know what a Mimm is. And you know how hard (and annoying) they can be to kill off. Don't use Teleport or Soul Strike, cause she does this blue bubble thing like Jahmir that knocks off a ton of HP if you touch it. Firebrand works better on her than Soul Wave.

You win Magical Artifacts: Lipstick , Mage Ribbon , Magical Broom , and a Magical Pouch

Seed IX

The enemies are random in this seed.

You win a Fighter's Star Item Set: Star Gloves , Star Helm , and a Star Shield

After the eighth seed, the game starts randomizing your enemies. After the ninth, all you win are a Gummy Set, and then an Apple Gummy and an Orange Gummy. Bah. NEXT!
