Sidenotes: When Kairi was very very young, she moved to the island that Sora and Riku had grown up on, and the three became fast friends. One night, a really bad storm unleashed a horde of dark, evil creatures onto their island home, and Kairi disappeared. Sora eventually found her, and left her back on the newly-restored Destiny Islands, promising to return when he found Riku.
