The first time you enter the TV World, suddenly, out of the fog appears a shape... a strange bear shape. クマだ~　It's Teddie! (by the way, クマ is read Kuma and in Japanese, "kuma" means "bear") Teddie is a native resident of the TV World and as such is very in tune with what goes on there. At first, Teddie is suspicious that you and your friends are the ones responsible for all of the people being thrown into his home, but eventually he comes to realise that you guys are actually trying to stop the killings. Due to his vested interest in not having a bunch of corpses mucking up his living room he decides to join the Investigation Team on day one as a support character. As more and more people get thrown into the telly the TV World grows larger, leading to Teddie being less in tune with the world. Compounding this is the fact that spending time with you and your friends, and his eventual forays into the real world, seems to be making Teddie more human. Due to him slowly losing his abilities to help you out in the TV World Teddie begins to doubt his usefulness to you, culminating in the formation of his very own Shadow. After its defeat, you and your friends tell him that he's a valued member of the team, and he resolves to re-join the team as a frontline fighter, leaving the support duties to the newly-saved Rise.
