Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 4 Walkthough
Released in 2008, Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 4 (or P4 for short) is the fourth Persona game in the Megami Tensei line from Atlus. It is set in the same world as P2 and P3 although only tangetially
related as it only shares a few locations with the other games and only has one or two cameos of previous characters (not counting Igor of course). The game is very socially-driven. As Igor
explains, your power to create Personas increases as the relevant bonds (Social Links) are strengthened. Personas are the "monsters" you use to fight enemies in the game. The best way to
describe this game is standard RPG meets relationship-VN I suppose, since how you interact with your social links determines how much they like you.
The story begins as you (the main character) are sent off to your uncle's place in the middle of nowhere because your parents have to travel for business. Soon you are thrown into a murder mystery
that has ties to a bizarre new world inside the television, and only you and your friends have the power to solve this mystery: the power of Persona. Using your newfound powers and the strong
bonds of friendship you develop during the course of the game, you must find the culprit behind the murders, solve the mysteries behind the TV world, and save humanity from dangers from without
and within. Call forth your Persona and defeat the Shadows!
