You wake up in a field. After much talk and reading of Tornix's journal, you figure out that Cless and Mint's parents were heroes... Tornix too, of course.
Enter the village to your right.
In the morning (how's yer back from sleeping on the floor?), talk to Lenios' wife to get the Medium Food Sack. Go to the left of the items store to get
an Orange Gummy and a Remedy Bottle. Enter the Weapons shop to upgrade your equipment and sell off your extra stuff (like the stuff you took off of Chester
before your time-traveling episode). Enter the wall directly to the right of where you were talking to the weapons kid to enter a secret passage. Go right
and up and talk to the boy again to learn Cless' Mecha Blade! Leave Beladum from the southern exit and enter the forest.
Go down and right from the entrance and grab the Orange Gummy from the chest under the tree. Under the tree right below that one is a Sage (you can't see
the chest. Just hit X (Accept button) while you're under the leaves of the tree until you find it). Go north to get an hourglass. Left of the Tree is a
chest containing a Reverse Doll. Re-enter the town and exit north.
Go north and right and you'll see a house of sorts. This is the docks. You'll find a Spy Lens, a Steak, a Life Bottle, an Elixir, and a Mystical Rune here
(equip this on Mint). And I am not going to walk you through that! Sheesh. You can level up around here and heal at Lenios' house. By the way, if
you encounter any Hornets use Lightning Bolt to get the fight over with quickly. When you're ready, head to the mountain pass.
Same rule applies here about the increased enemy encounter rate on the top route. Take the left road to just get the heck out of here. You don't actually
There's nothing at the top this time around, so... yeah, just go left.

Talk to the girl under the tree, who tells you off. Wander off, and Mint will comment that the girl's in love and that you've got to help her. Cless
starts hitting on Nancy. ^x__x^;; Enter the back room of the Weapons shop and talk to the blue-haired guy. This is Elwyn. He's kinda like O_o? Enter
the Food Shop and buy a ton and a half of apples. As a matter of fact, fill your food sack with them! (they only cost 1g each, so apples are a cheap way
to keep your food sack full) Go back and talk to Nancy again. Talk to the little blonde girl with a blue ribbon wandering around to find out that Midgard
is on the brink of war with Dhaos. Talk to Elwyn again, then talk to Nancy. Again. And that's it for the love story for now. Time to pillage the town
of its goodies! Left and up from the door of the Weapons Shop is 1,000g. To the right and behind the Inn under a tree is a Mixed Gummy and a Rune Bottle
(press 1 to see it if you're on zSNES). From the house to the right of the crappy band go up and right into the "gap" in the trees (pictured right). From
there, go up, left, up, left, down, left, up, and left. Grab the Charm Bottle and go back. |

Enter the house now. Klarth acts like an ass (after all, that's what he is), then Miranda comes in and scolds him. And calls him an ass. Well, I must
say, great minds do think alike! After some manipulation by Miranda, Klarth stops being a "stupid stupid STUPID man," and joins you. Check out the
books in the library to learn some stuff about your world, then leave town.
Klarth joins at level 9, so you might want to level him up a bit. When Mint learns Delay, I suggest you turn it the heck off and only use it manually
during boss battles. And no, you can't rest at Klarth's house, cause he's cheap. Go right across the bridge from Euclid and enter the little house north
of there. Klarth explains that he needs a ring to contract with the spirits. Before going into Bart's house, go right and up from the door to get a Thief's
Mantle, then enter the house.
Bart will give you the ring as long as you promise to find his daughter. And "friendly" is a pretty mild word for Arche... Anyway. Go to the town to the
north.
Enter the supply store to your left and buy a pick-axe and a rope. You can also go north to Venezzia to buy better weapons and armour. North and right of
the fountain (in Venezzia) is a boatman. Talk to him so he can take you to the Weapons Shop, etc. Unfortunately, you have to pay his lazy butt. (If he's not
there, leave Venezzia and re-enter. Sometimes he's out to lunch or something. *shrugs* ) Buy new weapons and armour (for a list, go
here). Talk to the swordswoman in the Armour Shop to get Tempest for 3000g. Now, go back to Bart's house and enter the
mountain area.
