Back in Venezzia, talk to Elwyn's father again and answer Yes. Head to the Southern Harbor and talk to the other captain to get back to Alvanista. Exit
the city to the east and find the other harbor to the south. Talk to the captain and he'll take you to Freland. Exit south to leave the harbor.
Turn off any fire skills (Phoenix, Eruption, etc.) for this area and equip Cless with the Ice Scimitar from the fight with Meia. Go east from the harbor
(behind some little mountains) to get to Olive Village. There really aren't any new weapons to buy, but there is a Food shop and an Item shop. If you've
been reading my walkthrough from the beginning, then we've already been here and raided stuff. If so, skip down to the Molten Cavern section. If not: At the
north end of town between the Dime Store and a house is 2,600g. You can use a Charm Bottle to get a Holy Rune (gradually restores HP) for a lot less here
in the Dime Store. The people in the Grocery are a bit... uh... strange. To the right of the southern entrance is a Mixed Gummy.
East of Olive Village is a cave. Don't go in there yet. Go south and east from the cave entrance, then go south. There's a patch of green next to a lake
(this is an oasis). Enter there to get a Rune Bottle and a Flame Mantle. Use a Rune Bottle on the Aqua Mantle you got earlier from Undine to transform it
into a Flame Mantle (useful around here, and you can always turn it back later). Equip the two Flame Mantles on people (Cless and whomever) and the Garnet
Ring on Klarth. Equip Arche and Mint with the Princess Capes you transformed earlier (Silver Cape + Rune Bottle == Princess Cape). Further north is
another oasis. Enter there to get a Medicine Bottle. Keep going north and east to find another one with a bunch of bush babies and a Life Bottle. You
might want to start saving up any Basilisk Scales you might acquire, since you'll need like five or six later on. Lightning and Water spells work great on
these guys (the Basilisks), and they give really good EXP. Have some Remedy Bottles handy, though, cause these guys can turn your party members to stone.
*shudder* Use the Olive Village Inn to heal, then head to the cave.
: *CHOMP* ... ^.__.^
You might want to say screw the Jet Boots around here. I've got Cless with a Flame Mantle and the Black Onyx, Mint with a Princess Cape and a Flame Mantle,
Klarth with the Garnet Ring and the Mystical Rune (so he can cast Undine quicker), and Arche with a Princess Cape and the Mental Ring (or a Talisman).
If you get lightning bolts coming out of a character's head use a Remedy Bottle on them. Go right and up for a Spy Lens, then go down the stairs. Left
and up is the Sorcerer's Ring in a chest. And, no, it doesn't shoot sparks during battle. South from the stairs is a Resist Ring and a Talisman. Go back
up the stairs and go left. Step on the nearest pillar in front of the locked door and shoot sparks at the target to open the door. Go through and go up
to get a Savory, a ?Weapon (Thunderclap), and a Battle Rune. Head south and down the stairs. Right and up are a Mixed Gummy, 1,000g, and the Magma Key.
Exit the area at the bottom-right to end up in the room where you found the Sorcerer's Ring. Exit right and up the stairs.
Enter the middle door and go left to grab a Charm Bottle. Use the Ring on the target to open the door north of the SP. Inspect the next door to use the
Magma Key on it. The room in here has some pillars that have a mark on em. They're targets of sorts, and you know what to do with targets, don'tya? Use
the Ring, use the Ring, use the Ring! Climb over the fallen pillars to get to the other side.
Boss: Ifrit
HP: 5,500
TP: 0
Attacks: Fireball
Weakness: Water
Having Undine on automatic (which you should already have), and having all that stuff that I told you about equipped should help a lot.
In the chest in the back is a Spell book with Fire Wall for Arche. Turn it off in her menu while you're still in this area. Keep heading south to leave
the cavern, then return to the harbor east of Olive Village and take the boat.
