Background: First in line to the throne of Jurai, Yosho ran off after Ryoko the space pirate and was never heard from again. ... well, at least, not on Jurai. He tracked Ryoko to Earth, imprisoned her in the Masaki Shrine, and changed his name to Katsuhito. He eventually married and had a daughter (Achika), who later also married and had a son (Tenchi). Katsuhito and his son-in-law Nobuyuki raised Tenchi after Achika died; Katsuhito training him in the martial arts, and Nobuyuki attempting to teach him the arts of being a world-class perv.
